Dr. Jimmy Zhaowei Chen

Dr. Jimmy Zhaowei Chen is an assistant professor at Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, HKMU. His research interests include sustainability, nonmarket strategy, and the application of AI technologies in management. His research has been published in leading journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of World Business, Global Strategy Journal, as well as book chapters in edited books such as the Handbook of International Business Policy. His research has received recognition, including a finalist nomination for the Journal of World Business Best Paper Award in 2023. Prior to joining HKMU, Dr Chen received his Ph.D. degree from the National University of Singapore. Within the academic community, he serves as an organizing committee member and seminar host/moderator at the China Business Research Network. He also served as the Program Coordinator and Assistant for the Academy of International Business Conference 2021 Pre-Conference and the Academy of International Business Conference 2022 in Miami.
